Purpose
The app helps Jira and Jira Service Management teams assemble an evidence view around failed or problematic changes.
Typical workflow
Install on a supported Atlassian Cloud site; grant the production manifest permissions; open Change Failure Evidence Pack in Jira; run the available analysis; review change, incident, rollback, and follow-up signals; use the output for post-change review or audit preparation.
How findings work
The app recognizes change/release and incident candidates from Jira issue type names, labels, and available metadata. It scans a bounded recent issue set. Temporal, component, or label matches are signals for human review, not proof that a change caused an incident.
Limits
Missing, inconsistent, unlinked, inaccessible, or older records may reduce completeness. The app is read-only and its findings do not replace original Jira/JSM records.
Troubleshooting
If a relationship is missing, check that the issue exists, the user and app can read it, the relationship is represented in available Jira/JSM data, and the app is installed and licensed. For assistance contact rbhaddad@gmail.com.
Privacy
The production manifest requests read:jira-work, with no external remotes or fetch domains. This version does not persist Jira customer content.
